RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Warmly greet customers. 
  • Check clients in and out. 
  • Process transactions and issue receipts. 
  • General knowledge of retail products and the ability to make recommendations. 
  • Manage the flow of customers between check in and the service. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and retail area. 
  • Manage answering phone. 
  • Inform customers about services. 
  • Update customer records with contact information. 
  • Commitment to working a flexible schedule, including peak times.
 
QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Dedication to excellent customer service and communication skills.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.

  • Previous salon and spa experience  
  • Meevo2 POS experience

RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Performs professional massage treatments within the scope of practice and licensing based on the guests’ needs.  
  • Promotes consistency of health and wellness to promote retail products, services, and packages.  
  • Displays clear pre/post treatment instructions to guests.  
  • Always upholds a professional demeanor to ensure an excellent guest care experience.  
  • Increases guest retention by exhibiting a positive attitude and building relationships.  
  • Assists in the cleanliness of spa facility while ensuring inventory is stocked with appropriate supplies in treatment rooms.  
  • Cleans and sterilizes equipment/instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies according to - Courted, CDC, OSHA, state, and local guidelines.  
  • Ensures proper intake/consent forms are completed.  
  • Performs administrative duties as needed: welcoming guests, escorting clients to lounge and/or treatment areas.  
  • Attends all staff meetings, promotional events, and marketing efforts throughout the facility.  
  • Maintains up to date education requirements for massage recertification.  
  • Attains a general knowledge and understanding of all services and products to educate guests.  

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Valid VA state license  
  • Possess strong sales orientation.  
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Tranquility Day Spa and Salon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our Salon team. We are looking for the BEST and Brightest!! We are hiring career-minded, experienced stylists to join our team. Tranquility Day Spa and Salon is a commission-based salon serving an amazing clientele and employing some of the highest-paid stylists in the area.

Our team environment is centered around safety, compassion, joy, humility, and kindness. We have a zero-tolerance policy for drama and ensure that our salon is always a positive environment. Stylist Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION
Tranquility Day Spa & Salon is seeking a Stylist Assistant, that is newly licensed as a Cosmetologist or is getting ready to graduate from Cosmetology school, to join our team in Haymarket, Virginia.

RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Preparation for client services: Shampoo, treatments, etc.
  • Receive direction from stylists, while assisting them meet their client’s needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, (change linens, wash/fold towels, clean tools and equipment, clean/tidy restrooms, sweep Salon floor, wash color bowls, color brushes, combs, etc.)
  • Product and ingredient knowledge, to ensure that clients are educated and understand why specific products are being used for their services
  • Assist with color formulation
  • Maintain backbar inventory
  • Maintain salon’s appearance throughout the day
  • Assist Front Desk Associate team as needed, (answer phone calls, welcome guests and assist with their check in process, schedule appointments in Salon software
  • Ensure clients are comfortable and feel welcomed
  • Attends all staff meetings, promotional events and marketing efforts throughout the facility
  • Attains a general knowledge and understanding of all services and products to educate guests
 
QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Valid VA Cosmetology License or in the process of completing Cosmetology school
  • Possess strong sales orientation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be available to work some evening and weekend shifts
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
